Reading a neck finish

The finish is the top of the container that the closure fits. "TO 63" means a 63 mm twist-off (lug) finish; "DTO" is a deep twist-off. Bottles use screw (ROPP) finishes such as 28 mm or 31.5 mm, crown, cork or Guala finishes. The closure must match the finish exactly.

Capacity: brimful vs filling

Brimful capacity is the volume to the very top; filling capacity leaves headspace for the closure and product expansion. Product pages show the nominal capacity; confirm fill heights with the specification sheet.
